Role Overview

Cultivate a deep understanding of our intelligence software while working on an agile team to deliver elegant, intuitive, accessible, bug-free, responsive, and user-friendly solutions. Work with our team to build systems, models, and solutions in a variety of fields. We will need you to be able to write full-stack solutions which integrate with RESTful APIs to our machine learning algorithms. Understanding the IP in the models is a key function of this role. You will also need to be able to deploy these solutions using a full devops pipeline. A specific requirement of this role will be pre-sales and you will have many opportunities to describe the business benefits of our solutions to customers.

Your team will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Development and optimization of various machine learning, machine translation and forecasting solutions.
  • Development and optimization of our ReactJS/C#/Blazor website solutions and integrating ReactJS to the provided Python APIs to the machine learning models.
  • Writing understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability, scalability, and internationalization.
  • Working to deliver solutions with the team, aligned to our DevOps methods and practices.
  • Enhancing existing solutions and deploying them for new customers.

We have offices but find that most staff are happy to work from home and have set up our work systems to support fully remote workers.

Our technology stack (the highlights):

  • Website solution is built with ReactJS, Blazor, and C# with ASP.net
  • Machine learning using leading AI Python implementations
  • Data stores using DynamoDB, PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch + Kibana
  • Deployed on AWS and Azure using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Business Intelligence using Power BI

Your skills:

  • Good command of English and able to present technical information in sales meetings
  • At least two years’ experience working on machine learning models including demonstrable experience with scikit-learn, pandas etc…
  • Working knowledge of deep learning and standard machine learning frameworks (pytorch, tensorflow etc…)
  • Two or more years’ experience working in C# with Blazor or React full-stack skills
  • .Net Core
  • SQL, NoSQL (especially elastic)
  • API development and RESTful API design
  • Development Team
    • Working with Git/GitHub (or similar tools)
    • Working in an Agile/Kanban/Scrum team
    • Test-driven approach to development, with cross-browser testing

Nice to have (any of these will add to your application):

  • Bachelor’s degree, although (your experience can override this requirement)
  • Pre-sales experience
  • Direct experience with NLP, NMT, audio or video analysis
  • Experience with AWS or the Azure cloud
  • Azure DevOps
  • Docker
  • Working with responsive designs
  • Familiar with observability and monitoring.
  • Working with cloud architectures like AWS lambda
