VoxCroft is looking for speakers of Hokkien to participate in a paid project to build bilingual language data sets. Native speakers of Hokkien will be required to complete the following tasks:
- Translate sentences from Hokkien to English
- Translate sentences from English to Hokkien
- Transcribe audio content into Hokkien
- Translate Hokkien transcribed sentences to English
- Record themselves reading sentences in English and Hokkien
- Assess sentences transcribed/translated by peers using VoxCroft’s quality matrix
- Improve the quality of transcribed/translated sentences, where necessary
Potential candidates:
- Do not need to be professional translators but must display language proficiency in translating written English sentences accurately into Hokkien and from Hokkien into good quality English.
- Must portray excellent attention to detail and a good grasp of the spelling and grammar rules in their mother tongue.
- Must be available to work at least 15 hours per week over 3-4 months.
Successful candidates will:
- Work online remotely,
- Must have a computer/laptop and access to reliable Internet for the duration of the contract.
- Be paid competitively based on speed and quality of translation.

VoxCroft 正在誠徵以台語為母語的人士參與語言資料庫 (語料庫) 創建專案，以建立雙語語言資料
庫，這些資料庫將用於訓練和構建語言模型。經錄用者需要完成以下任務：
· 將句子從台語翻譯成英文
· 將句子從英文翻譯成台語
· 將音檔內容以台語聽打出來
· 將聽打出來的台語句子翻譯成英文
· 錄下自己用英文和台語朗讀的句子
· 使用VoxCroft的質量矩陣評估同伴聽打和翻譯的句子，以確保品質 (QA)
· 在必要時編修聽打和翻譯內容，以提高句子品質
應徵者條件：
· 不需要是專業翻譯人士，但必須具備將書面英文句子準確翻譯成台語以及從台語翻譯成高質量
英文的語言能力。
· 必須具備出色的細節注意力，並對台語拼寫和語法規則具有良好的掌握能力。
· 必須能夠在3-4個月內每週至少工作15小時。
VoxCroft將根據文本的品質支付報酬，基礎報酬費率為每句美金$0.65。品質保證(QA)任務的報酬
為每句$0.35。獲得最高品質評分的句子將獲得基礎費率之外的獎金。編修句子以改進品質也會得
到每次確認改進$0.03的額外報酬。
VoxCroft將對所有應徵者進行測試，以選出符合要求標準的人才。
錄取者將：
· 在線遠程工作
· 必須在契約期間有電腦/筆記本電腦並能穩定上網
· 必須有能接受國際付款的本地貨幣銀行帳戶
· 必須有身份證明（護照等）
VoxCroft將與錄取者簽約，之後開始專案工作。所有簽約者將接受培訓。
